Cook Off is a romantic comedy about two Black women trying to find career success. Both women have trouble finding the right man until they come together. The story really gets interesting when one mother is entered into a reality cooking show by her son.

4. Nappily Ever After

One of the most liked Black love movies on Netflix is Nappily Ever After. Follow Violet, a perfectionist executive who wears her hair straight, despite the time, effort, and burns that sometimes happen. Walk Away from Love is a feel-good movie you and your loved one will love to watch together. Follow Micah, a single attorney who, after a heartbreak, hasn’t been in a relationship in three years. 7. What Men Want

What Men Want is a romantic comedy that men and women will both love and resonate with. Taraji P. Henson and Tracy Morgan are the stars of this hilarious journey based loosely on the movie, What Women Want. In What Men Want, Ali (Taraji P. Henson) drinks a concoction that allows her to hear men’s thoughts. This sets off a hilarious journey with many ups and downs for Ali and her entourage.

8. Love, Guaranteed

This is a fun and light-hearted movie starring Rachel Leigh Cook and Damon Wayans, Jr. A crusading attorney who is cash-strapped takes on a client who is planning to sue a dating site guaranteeing that clients will find love. Sparks fly between the two in a classic rom-com way.

9. The Holiday Calendar

Holiday movie-lovers will love The Holiday Calendar. But it’s really a great film for any time of year. The story is about Abby, a talented photographer, who inherits an advent calendar from her grandfather. At first, Abby isn’t impressed, but then she realizes that what happens inside is happening in real life. Will the advent calendar point Abby to love?

10. Deuces

Want something with a little more action and intrigue? Check out Deuces. Deuces is the story of an undercover cop who is tasked with taking down a crime ring. But things don’t go quite as they should when the detective falls for the enigmatic leader. Starring Larenz Tate and Antonique Smith.
